TNTT Westminster
Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Group
We are a scouts group that gathers together every Sunday at Sigler Park in Westminster. On these Sundays, we learn more about the Bible and have a better understanding of it. Also we learn ways to communicate, more and semaphore, and how to do knots.
Camps
In a year we have a total of 3 camps that we hold.
The 1st camp would be a camp to help train and refresh the minds of upcoming leaders in the group.
2nd is camp with no learning what so ever because it is a fun camp where we play all the time.
3rd is the camp where all of the yout groups from different churches comes together and have competitions with each other.
Communication
Morse and semaphore are ways of communication that every eucharistic youth group has or is learning.
We learn ways to communicate for times when our phones have no service or we just don't like to use technology.
Anniversary
For our anniversary of our group, we only celebrate it every 5 years.
The reason for celebrating it every 5 years is because we want our anniversary to be special not something like a birthday celebration every year.
During our anniversary celebration, we have many entertainments and food and games, such as raffles, to keep the guests happy.
Our recent anniversary celebration was for our 25th year of being an official youth group.
Knots
Learning how to tie knots is crucial to our yotuh group because there are times in life when not everything can be built from machines, so we tend to focus on using knots and our surroundings.
